The Ratchet Shop at The Black Isle Show

On the 3rd and 4th of August we will be travelling up to the beautiful northern Scottish Highland for the Black Isle Show. The show takes place just north of Inverness, and brings together some of the brightest and best of the agriculture and livestock industry from Scotland and all over the UK.

The Black Isle Show has been held each year since 1836, but it was only in 1957 that the organisers made Mannfield the permanent home of the event. Since then the organisers have made a real effort to upgrade the facilities and attractions, with a real emphasis on making each year better than the last.

The attractions this year include; food and craft stalls, livestock competitions, a flower show, a vintage tractor display, funfair and much more. One of the most hotly anticipated new attractions to the show is the display by Matt Coulter, aka. the Kangaroo Kid, who has travelled from Australia to perform exhilarating stunts and acrobatic feats, from the seat of his decked out quadbike.

Whether you are looking to participate in the events or competitions, network with fellow tradesmen or just want to come and join in the fun, there is plenty jam-packed into the two days to keep you busy from start to finish.

The Ratchet Shop make it our goal to travel to as many of the most popular agriculture events that we can each year. It is one of our favourite ways to get in touch with some of the industries leaders, and get face to face with some of our customers. This year already we have been to the Royal Three Counties Show, the Royal Norfolk Show and the Royal Welsh Show to name a few, and we are trying our best to make to as many of the biggest events as we can.

If you see us at the show make sure you come over and chat with us. We will be showing off some of our most popular and newest products for people to see and try out.

If you haven’t yet bought tickets for the event but would like to, it isn't too late! Tickets can be bought at the gate or purchased online here for a 20% saving.

We look forward to seeing you there!
