Overview
The Able Forge SPB028 is a forged screw pin bow shackle rated to a 9.5-tonne Working Load Limit, permanently stamped on the body for instant, error-free identification on site. Built from quenched and tempered alloy steel, it delivers exceptional toughness, fatigue resistance, and uniform strength throughout, making it a dependable connection point for heavy-duty rigging, lifting, and lashing operations.
The wide bow profile comfortably accommodates webbing sling eyes, multi-leg chain configurations, and rope terminations. The screw pin design enables fast, tool-free installation and removal, while the distinctive blue pin provides immediate size and grade identification at a glance. The body is hot-dip galvanised for robust corrosion resistance in demanding environments.
CE marked and fatigue rated as standard. Shackles can be supplied proof-tested with third-party certificates (ABS, DNV, Lloyd's, or other) upon request at time of order.
