Overview
The Grade 80 Sub Master Link Assembly (Model MLA-8-18) is a welded alloy steel master link assembly designed for use at the top of 3- or 4-leg chain sling configurations. Manufactured from high-grade quenched and tempered alloy steel, it provides a robust and reliable connection point between lifting chain legs and a crane hook or hoist ring.
Each assembly is individually proof tested to 2.5 times its Working Load Limit and carries a Product Identification Code (PIC) for full material traceability. The larger inside width and length make it compatible with thimbles, and it is fatigue rated at 1.5 times the WLL over a 20,000-cycle test, delivering confidence in demanding industrial, construction, and rigging environments.
