Overview
The Able Forge SPB044 is a heavy-duty forged screw pin bow shackle rated to a 25-tonne working load limit (WLL). Designed for demanding industrial, construction, and marine lifting applications, the wide bow profile accommodates webbing slings, allowing the sling eye to bear correctly without point loading.
Each shackle is individually forged from alloy steel, then quenched and tempered for consistent strength and toughness throughout. The WLL is permanently stamped on the body for fast, reliable identification on site. A 6:1 safety factor means the minimum breaking strength is 150 tonnes.
The hot-dip galvanised body provides excellent corrosion resistance, while the alloy screw pin ensures a secure, tool-free connection. CE marked and fatigue rated as standard; proof testing and third-party certification (ABS, DNV, Lloyd's) are available on request at the time of order.
