Overview
The Able SPB009 is a 3/8" forged screw pin bow shackle rated to a 1-tonne Working Load Limit (WLL), designed for rigging, lifting and general industrial load-securing applications. The wide bow (omega) profile comfortably accommodates sling eyes, master links and chain, distributing load evenly to reduce wear on your lifting accessories.
Forged from alloy steel and quenched and tempered for consistent grain structure and superior strength, this shackle eliminates the internal voids associated with cast alternatives. The WLL is permanently stamped on the body for fast, confident identification on site, and the shackle carries CE marking. The minimum breaking strength is 6 times the working load limit, in line with a 6:1 safety factor.
The screw pin closure provides secure, tool-free fastening and quick release when required. The hot-dip galvanised body offers corrosion resistance for use in demanding environments.
