Overview
This heavy-duty forged screw pin bow shackle from Able delivers a 17,000 kg (17 t) Working Load Limit in a robust, fatigue-rated design suited to the most demanding lifting and rigging applications. The wide bow profile provides a generous bearing surface, making it ideal for use with webbing slings, multi-leg chain slings, and other rigging assemblies.
The shackle body is hot-dip galvanised for outstanding corrosion resistance, and the WLL is permanently stamped on the bow for instant, reliable identification on site. Quenched and tempered throughout, the shackle delivers consistent strength and toughness, and carries a 6:1 safety factor (minimum breaking load 102,000 kg) in line with standard rigging practice. CE marked and manufactured to Federal Specification RR-C-271D Type IVA, Grade A.
