Overview
This Grade 80 alloy steel eye grab hook is designed for use with 7/8mm Grade 80 lifting chain. Its eye fitting allows quick and secure connection to chain assemblies, making it ideal for load restraint, chain shortening, and back-hooking to form a choker configuration. The reinforced saddle supports the chain link firmly, reducing wear and preventing slip-off, while the near-circular section delivers exceptional resistance to bending.
Unlike many hooks that reduce the working load limit of a chain, the supporting wings on this eye grab hook prevent chain link deformation, so there is no reduction in WLL when in use. Each hook is embossed with brand, WLL, batch number and size for full traceability.
