Overview
This 10mm eye grab hook is engineered for use with Grade 80 alloy lifting chain, offering a working load limit of 3,100 kg. Widely used across commercial shipping, heavy haulage, and industrial lifting, it is suitable for hooking back a chain leg to form a choker configuration or as a chain shortener to adjust sling length quickly and safely.
The hook features a reinforced saddle that supports the chain and reduces wear over repeated use. Its near-circular cross-section delivers excellent resistance to bending and deformation, while supporting wings prevent the chain link from deforming under load, meaning there is no reduction to the chain's working load limit when this hook is in use. The small throat opening further increases load security and prevents the chain from slipping out unintentionally.
