The ABLE PML500 Permanent Magnetic Lifter provides a reliable, electricity-free solution for lifting and transporting flat and round steel components in workshops, fabrication yards, steel stockholders and general industry. Simply place the lifter onto the workpiece, engage the lever and lift, no slings, chains, clamps or other holding devices are required, so the surface of the lifted goods is fully protected from damage.

The magnetic force is generated entirely by permanent magnets, meaning no power supply is needed on site. Once the lifter is switched off, less than 1% residual magnetism remains, making release clean and safe. The highest pulling force is 3.0 times greater than the rated working load limit, providing a substantial safety margin.

Lifting capacity is affected by workpiece thickness and surface roughness. If surface roughness (Ra) is less than 6.3 µm, full 100% capacity is achieved. For surfaces rougher than 6.3 µm, an air-gap allowance must be estimated using the capacity curve. Always consult the capacity chart before use.
