Overview
ABLE PML-800 Permanent Magnetic Lifter, 800 kg Capacity
The ABLE PML-800 Permanent Magnetic Lifter is a robust, no-power lifting solution designed for use across a wide range of industrial applications, including the transportation and lifting of steel plates, engine components, semi-manufactured goods, and moulds. Because it relies entirely on permanent magnet technology, there is no need for slings, chains, clamps, or other holding devices, protecting the surface of your workpiece throughout every lift.
The simple lever-operated on/off switch and integrated safety button allow confident one-handed operation, whilst the high pulling force, 3.0 times the rated working load limit, provides a substantial built-in safety margin. Once switched off, residual magnetism is less than 1%, ensuring safe and clean release of loads.
- Rated lifting capacity: 800 kg (flat plate) / 265 kg (round bar)
- Highest pulling force is 3.0× the rated lifting capability for a generous safety margin
- No electricity required, fully self-contained permanent magnet operation
- Less than 1% residual magnetism after operation for safe load release
- One-handed operation via simple switch and safety button mechanism
- Suitable for steel plates, engine parts, moulds, and semi-manufactured goods
- Working temperature range: −40 °C to +80 °C
- CE marked; part of the ABLE PML range available from 100 kg up to 5000 kg capacity
Selecting the correct model: Lifting capacity is determined by the thickness and surface quality of the component. Where surface roughness (Ra) is below 6.3 µm, full rated capacity is achieved. Where Ra exceeds 6.3 µm, a surface gap must be estimated and capacity adjusted accordingly, refer to the capacity/air-gap curve supplied with the unit.
