Overview
This Grade 80 alloy connecting link is forged from high-grade alloy steel (quenched and tempered) and is designed to connect lifting chain slings and other lifting equipment for overhead lifting applications across a wide range of industries.
The simple two-body pin-and-stud design allows instant assembly, dismantling and reassembly without the need for specialist tools, making it ideal for riggers who need dependable, repeatable connections in the field. Only one chain or fitting should be assembled to each C-link body half. When reassembling a used C-link, a new pin and stud assembly is recommended.
Each link is marked with traceability information, WLL, batch number and size, and is proof-load tested to 2.5 times its working load limit. The ultimate load is 4 times the rated capacity and the link is fatigue rated at 1.5 times the WLL at 20,000 cycles.
