Overview
The Ableforge 16mm Clevis Self-Locking Safety Hook (Model HSC016) is a high-grade alloy steel lifting hook designed for use with Grade 80 alloy chain in overhead lifting applications. Its unique grip latch mechanism closes automatically when a load is engaged and will not open under load, even if the load is momentarily set down, preventing accidental disengagement and keeping your lift secure at all times.
To release the load, simply press the release trigger. The latch then stays open, making re-hooking quick and effortless with one hand. The clevis fitting connects directly onto chain links, simplifying rigging and reducing assembly time on site.
Every hook is proof load tested to 2.5 times the Working Load Limit and carries an ultimate load rating of 4 times capacity, giving you complete confidence in the integrity of your lifting equipment.
