Overview
This Grade 80 alloy steel master link (model MLW-8-13) is an essential component for chain sling assemblies, connecting lifting chains or wire rope slings to a load or hook. Manufactured from high-grade quenched and tempered alloy steel, it is individually proof tested to 2.5 times the Working Load Limit and supplied with certification as standard.
The oblong welded design features a larger internal width and length to accommodate thimbles for wire rope use in bridle configurations. Each link carries a Product Identification Code (PIC) for full material traceability, along with the size and manufacturer's mark.
