The Able PLC05 is a universal vertical plate lifting clamp engineered for the safe lifting and 180° turning of steel plates, ship sections, and pile sheets. Manufactured from fully forged alloy steel parts (jaw and floor material: 20 CrMnTi), it delivers a compact overall footprint with a relatively high working load limit of 0.5 tonnes, tested to 1.0 tonne, and meets standard BS EN13155.

The hinged hoisting eye rotates freely in all directions, allowing the operator to approach and lift the load from any angle. Special hook-up facilities enable easy fitment in the horizontal position, while the expanded jaw aperture (0-15 mm) accommodates plates of varying thickness without needing to change clamps.

• Double-locking safety latch secures the clamp in both the open and closed positions and guarantees a pre-load on the material being lifted
