Able PLC10 Plate Lifting Clamp, 1,000 kg WLL
The Able PLC10 is a universal vertical plate lifting clamp engineered for the safe lifting, turning, and handling of steel plates, ship sections, and pile sheets. Built from a fully forged structure with high-traceability materials, it delivers a compact overall size combined with a high lifting capacity and a safety factor of 6 × WLL.
The clamp features a hinged hoisting eye that moves freely in all directions, allowing the operator to approach and lift the load from any angle. A dedicated hook-up facility makes horizontal fitment fast and straightforward on site. The jaw and floor are manufactured from 20 CrMnTi alloy steel and the clamp meets standard BS EN 13155.
A double-action safety latch locks the clamp securely in both the open and closed positions, guaranteeing a positive pre-load on the material being lifted. The wider jaw aperture on the PLC range means a single clamp can handle plates of varying thickness without the need to change equipment.
