Able PLC20 Plate Lifting Clamp, 2,000 kg WLL
The Able PLC20 is a heavy-duty vertical plate lifting clamp designed for the safe lifting, turning (up to 180°), and positioning of steel plates, ship sections, and pile sheets. Fully forged from 20 CrMnTi alloy steel, this compact clamp delivers a high working load limit relative to its overall size, making it a practical choice for demanding industrial and construction environments.
A hinged hoisting eye rotates freely in all directions, allowing the operator to approach and lift the load from virtually any angle. Special hook-up facilities make horizontal fitment straightforward, and a double-locking safety latch ensures the load remains positively retained throughout the lift, both in the open and closed jaw positions.
The wider jaw aperture on the PLC range accommodates plates of varying thickness within the same clamp, reducing the need for multiple tools on site. The clamp meets standard BS EN 13155 and carries a safety factor of 6 × WLL.

Stock items can be returned within 30 days. Made-to-measure items, including lifting chains, can only be returned if faulty or damaged in transit.
