ABLE PLC50 Plate Lifting Clamp, 5,000 kg WLL
The ABLE PLC50 is a universal vertical plate lifting clamp engineered for the safe lifting and 180° turning of steel plates, ship sections, and pile sheets. Built from fully forged alloy steel components (jaw and floor material: 20 CrMnTi), it delivers a high lifting capacity in a compact overall envelope, meeting standard BS EN 13155.
A hinged hoisting eye rotates freely in all directions, allowing the operator to approach and lift the load from any angle. Dedicated hook-up facilities make horizontal fitment quick and straightforward. The wide jaw aperture accommodates plates of varying thickness, while a double-locking safety latch guarantees positive retention of the load in both the open and closed position, also applying a pre-load to the material being lifted.
The clamps are suitable for use on surfaces with hardnesses up to 37 Rc (345 HB). The overall forged structure provides excellent traceability and a safety factor of 6× WLL.
