ABLE 5000kg Manual Chain Block Hoist, 3m Drop
This ABLE chain block delivers dependable manual lifting of loads up to 5,000 kg (5 tonnes) with a standard lift height of 3 metres. Operated entirely by hand, the precision internal gear system means only modest pull effort is needed to raise heavy loads smoothly and safely. Suitable for workshops, factories, power plants, laboratories and any setting requiring controlled overhead or in-line lifting.
Key Properties
- Superior Grade 80 load chain, minimum breaking load is 400% of WLL with elongation greater than 10%, providing a clear visible warning before failure.
- Forged and heat-treated load hooks with integrated stretch indicators and forged safety latches for batch-traceable, secure attachment.
- Double-pawl fail-safe brake mechanism, even if one pawl becomes unserviceable, the remaining pawl keeps the brake system fully operative.
- Individually proof-load tested to 1.5× WLL (7,500 kg test load) with unique serial numbers for full traceability.
- Enclosed housing permits outdoor use; the load brake requires no lubrication, reducing maintenance demands.
