The ABLE 20-tonne chain block is a robust, hand-operated lifting hoist designed for heavy industrial use in power plants, factories, laboratories and construction sites. Pulling the hand chain engages precision internal gears, allowing a single operator to raise and lower loads of up to 20,000 kg with minimal effort.
Key Features
- Superior Grade 80 Load Chain, minimum breaking load is 400% of WLL with elongation greater than 10%, providing outstanding safety margins.
- Double Pawl Fail-Safe Brake, even if one pawl becomes unserviceable, the remaining pawl keeps the brake system fully operative and the load secure.
- Forged & Heat-Treated Load Hooks, both top and bottom hooks are individually forged, heat treated and fitted with safety latches and stretch indicators for batch-traceable load monitoring.
- Individual Proof Load Testing, every unit is proof-tested to 1.5× WLL and issued its own serial number for full traceability.
- Enclosed Housing, sealed bodywork permits outdoor use and the load brake requires no lubrication, reducing maintenance demands.
With a standard lift of 3 m and a load chain diameter of 10 mm, this chain block suits a wide range of overhead lifting, machine installation and load-securing applications where power tools are impractical or unavailable.
