Overview
Foundry hooks are designed primarily for the cast-metal industry, where an oversized throat opening is needed to engage the trunnions of a moulding box, but their wide opening makes them equally useful across a broad range of heavy-lift applications. This 13 mm hook (model SLR-116-5.3t) is forged from high-grade alloy steel, quenched and tempered to Grade 80, and finished in a highly visible yellow coating.
The large opening eye hook with flat design allows fast, positive engagement and can be connected to Grade 80 alloy chain or wire rope using G-Link or BL couplers. Every hook is individually marked with the brand, WLL, batch number and size for full traceability.
- Made from high-grade alloy steel, Grade 80 (quenched and tempered)
- Compatible with Grade 80 alloy chain and wire rope for lifting applications
- Marked with brand, WLL, batch number and size for traceability
- Proof load tested to 2.5 × WLL
- Ultimate breaking load is 4 × WLL
