Overview
Foundry hooks are specialist lifting components designed primarily for the cast metal industry, where a wide throat opening is essential to accommodate the trunnions of a moulding box. Their large opening also makes them suitable for a broad range of other heavy lifting applications where a standard hook throat is too narrow.
This 7/8mm foundry hook is manufactured from high-grade alloy steel and is quenched and tempered to Grade 80, delivering a Working Load Limit of 2,120 kg. It is compatible with Grade 80 alloy chain and can be connected via G-Link and BL couplers to both chain and wire rope. Each hook is marked with the brand, WLL, batch number and size for full traceability.
