Overview
The Ableforged 13 mm Clevis Sling Hook (Model HCS 013) is a general-purpose, Grade 80 forged alloy steel hook designed for direct attachment to 13 mm alloy lifting chain, no separate connector required. Its clevis opening is sized to accept only the correct chain diameter, reducing the risk of misuse on site.
A built-in safety latch with a stainless steel spring keeps the hook closed under load and prevents accidental disengagement, providing an essential additional layer of lifting safety. The large throat opening and carefully contoured body minimise fouling when rigging slings, making it quick and easy to use in demanding environments.
Every hook is embossed with the brand, WLL, batch number and size for full traceability, and is proof-load tested to 2.5 times the working load limit before leaving the factory.
