Overview
The Ableforged 16mm Clevis Sling Hook (Model HCS 016) is a general-purpose Grade 80 forged alloy steel hook designed for direct attachment to 16mm alloy lifting chain, no additional connector required. The clevis opening is sized to accept the correct chain gauge only, preventing misuse, while the built-in safety latch with stainless steel spring keeps loads securely seated during lifting operations.
Each hook is embossed with the brand, WLL, batch number and size for full traceability, and is 100% proof load tested to 2.5 times its Working Load Limit. The ultimate load capacity is 4 times the WLL, and the hook is fatigue rated at 1.5 times the WLL at 20,000 cycles. The painted finish provides additional corrosion resistance.
