Overview
The Able BHW-1800 Brake Hand Winch is a compact, robust manual wire rope winch designed for a wide range of lifting, hoisting and pulling applications, including boat raising, vehicle recovery and crane-assist duties. With a 410 kg lifting capacity (820 kg pulling capacity on the first rope layer) and a 5:1 gear ratio, it delivers controlled, efficient operation with minimal hand effort.
An automatic load-pressure brake holds the load securely in any position with no freewheeling, making controlled lowering as safe as lifting. All mechanical components are enclosed within a robust steel housing, protecting the gearing against dust, dirt and moisture ingress.
Supplied as standard with a high-visibility green powder-coated finish for corrosion protection. A rope-to-drum fixing clamp is included. Also available in grade A304 stainless steel (BHW-1800S).

Next-day delivery to England, Wales and Scotland (excluding the Highlands) on stock orders placed before 2.45pm. Free delivery on orders over £180£150 ex VAT.
Stock items can be returned within 30 days. Made-to-measure items, including lifting chains, can only be returned if faulty or damaged in transit.
