Overview
The ABLE SPD028 is a heavy-duty forged Dee shackle rated to a 9.5-tonne Working Load Limit (9,500 kg), permanently embossed on the body alongside the CE mark for instant, on-site verification. Quenched and tempered steel construction delivers the strength and toughness demanded by crane rigging, marine, construction, and general industrial load-handling.
The D-shape (chain shackle) profile concentrates load in-line, making it the preferred choice wherever high straight-pull forces are involved. The threaded screw pin provides a secure, positive closure that is quick to fit and remove without tools, while the drilled pin end allows mousing or wire-locking where regulations require.
- Working Load Limit: 9,500 kg (9.5 t), permanently embossed on body
- CE marked, clearly visible on the shackle bow
- Forged, quenched and tempered steel for maximum strength and durability
- Threaded screw pin with drilled end for mousing or wire-locking
- Narrow Dee profile excels under high in-line loads across rigging, marine, and construction use
