The 8,000 kg (8-tonne) flat polyester webbing sling is a professional-grade lifting strop designed for heavy industrial use. At 240 mm wide, this blue sling distributes load safely across a broad contact area, reducing the risk of damage to the lifted item, making it ideal wherever chain or wire rope would mark, scratch or crush delicate surfaces.
Manufactured from high-tenacity polyester, the sling is lightweight yet extremely strong, offering a 7:1 safety factor against its rated Working Load Limit (WLL). Each sling is individually certified to BS EN 1492-1:2000 and carries CE marking, giving you full traceability and compliance on site.
Reinforced becket eyes at both ends extend service life under repeated use, while the grey wear-sleeve protection at the eyes guards against abrasion at the contact points. Choose from five ready-to-ship lengths, 4 m, 5 m, 6 m, 8 m, and 10 m, to suit your specific rigging configuration.
