The Able UCG-B2000 Unshelled Cable Grip is an industrial-grade pulling and tensioning device designed for use with messenger wire ropes, cables and metal rods. Built from solid ductile and malleable iron, it delivers a safe working load of 2.0 tonnes and accommodates conductor diameters of 2-20 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of overhead line and rigging applications.
The parallel jaw design grips the wire firmly without causing surface damage, while the integrated guide prevents the grip from accidentally dropping off the wire and allows instant, safe release. Compatible with ratchet pullers (pulley tackle) for tight-wire applications, the grip is engineered with greater built-in safety factors than many comparable products and can be repaired in the field with minimal expense.
