The Able SV Plus VLC2 is a heavy-duty vertical lifting clamp designed for the safe vertical lifting, turning-over, and transfer of flat steel plates, shaped steels, and other sheet materials. Used across shipyards, construction sites, subway projects, and metal production workshops, it is equally at home wherever steel plate must be moved without surface damage.
Every clamp is fully forged and heat-treated for maximum strength and long service life. An integrated safety latch mechanism ensures the clamp remains locked to the load even when the lifting rope is slackened, providing an essential layer of protection against accidental release. Each unit carries an individual serial number and a permanent PI code for full traceability, and the product meets BS EN 13155, the European standard for non-fixed load lifting attachments.
