The ABLE Forged Screw Pin Dee Shackle (Model SPD028) is a heavy-duty connecting link designed for demanding rigging, lifting, and lashing operations. Stamped with its Working Load Limit, size, safety factor, and CE mark directly on the bow, this shackle provides instant, permanent identification on site, no guesswork, no risk of mix-ups.
Forged from steel and quenched and tempered for maximum toughness, the shackle body delivers reliable in-line load performance. The screw pin features a captive nut design with a cotter-pin hole for additional security in dynamic or marine environments. A minimum breaking strength of 6 times the working load limit is inherent to the design, as stated in the Ableforge specification sheet.
