Overview
The ABLE SPD028 Forged Screw Pin Dee Shackle is a heavy-duty D-shackle (chain shackle) built for demanding in-line rigging, lifting, and lashing duties. Forged from quenched and tempered steel and CE marked, it carries a Working Load Limit of 9½ t, permanently stamped onto the body alongside the nominal size (1⅛") and safety factor (4F) for instant, confident identification on site.
The narrow, chain-link profile of the D-shackle concentrates load along the centreline, making it the preferred choice for crane slings, wire-rope assemblies, marine rigging, and general industrial lifting. The threaded screw pin locks securely and the cotter-hole in the pin head allows mousing wire to be fitted where required.
