Overview
The ABLE SPD008 Forged Screw Pin Dee Shackle is a heavy-duty connecting link designed for in-line rigging, crane lifting, marine and general industrial applications. Its narrow D-shaped body channels load efficiently along a single axis, making it the preferred choice wherever straight-line pull is required.
Forged from steel and quenched and tempered for enhanced toughness, the shackle carries a Working Load Limit of 0.75 tonnes (750 kg) permanently embossed on the body alongside the CE mark and size designation, allowing fast, safe identification on site without the need for additional labels. The minimum breaking strength is 6 times the working load limit. A secure screw-pin closure with a cotter-hole retainer prevents accidental opening under load.
