The LINQ Rescue Winch (HSTW25) is a purpose-built manual winch designed for use with the LINQ Tripod (HSTP29), providing controlled raising and lowering of personnel or materials in confined space entry and rescue operations. Its 5.6:1 mechanical advantage significantly reduces operator effort when lifting heavy loads, making it an essential component of any confined space rescue system.
The winch attaches securely to the LINQ Tripod via a dedicated mounting plate, ensuring a robust and reliable connection throughout the operation. The galvanised steel cable and corrosion-resistant steel body are engineered to withstand demanding site conditions, having passed the corrosion test in accordance with ISO 9227:1990 (24 hours). Performance exceeds the requirements of EN 1496:2006.
