8T Steerable Skate with Turntable

The 8T Steerable Skate with Turntable is a robust industrial load-moving skate designed for safely and efficiently repositioning heavy machinery and equipment. Rated to 8 tonnes (8,000 kg), it is the go-to solution for workshops, factories, warehouses and plant rooms where heavy objects must be manoeuvred in confined spaces.

The rotating turntable top plate allows 360° steering, enabling precise directional control without the need to lift or reposition the skate. Loads can be raised onto the skate using a roller crowbar or hydraulic jack, after which the unit rolls smoothly across hard floors on six large-diameter sealed nylon rollers. These rollers spread the load across a wide footprint, protecting high-quality floor surfaces from point-load damage and avoiding the contamination associated with oil or grease.

Built from heavy-gauge welded steel and finished in high-visibility yellow, the skate is both durable and easy to locate on a busy shop floor. Integrated side handles on both ends allow the unit to be carried and positioned by hand with confidence. The maintenance-free roller assembly means no lubrication schedule is required.
