Overview
The Able WRP08 wire rope puller is a robust, hand-operated pulling and lifting device designed for a wide range of industrial, construction, railway, shipbuilding and transport applications. Its high-strength cast aluminium alloy body keeps it compact and light without compromising durability, making it easy to deploy wherever it is needed.
Unlike conventional hoists, the WRP08 requires no wire-rope drum, the rope passes straight through the body via two internal chucks, keeping the unit small and manoeuvrable. Moving the handle left and right drives the rope forward or back at up to 3 metres per minute, the fastest transmission speed of any comparable hand-driven hauling device.
Supplied complete with 20 m of galvanised steel wire rope (8.3 mm diameter, IWRC 8.3 construction) and a safety hook, it is ready to use straight from the box. Two independent safety devices and a built-in shear pin (functioning at approximately 150 % overload) protect both operator and load, while the wire rope safety factor of 5 × WLL and overall structure breaking strength of 4 × WLL provide exceptional peace of mind.
