ABLE 500 kg Manual Chain Block Hoist, 6 m Drop
This manual chain block from ABLE delivers reliable, controlled lifting of loads up to 500 kg (0.5 tonne) with a standard 6 m lift. Operated entirely by hand, the internal gear system means only minimal effort is required, just 22 kg of pull, making it an efficient and fatigue-reducing solution for workshops, factories, power plants, laboratories and construction sites.
Safety is built in at every level. A double-pawl brake mechanism ensures the load stays locked even if one pawl becomes unserviceable. Forged and heat-treated load hooks feature a stretch indicator for in-service monitoring and a forged safety latch for security. The Grade 80 load chain has a minimum breaking load of 400% of the WLL and elongation greater than 10%, giving outstanding reserve strength.
Every unit is individually proof-load tested to 1.5× WLL and carries its own serial number for full batch traceability. The enclosed housing protects internal components during outdoor use, and the load brake requires no lubrication, keeping maintenance to a minimum.
