Overview
This heavy-duty steel snatch block is engineered for demanding lifting, pulling and rope-redirecting tasks across construction, industrial, factory and agricultural environments. Fitted with a locking safety hook head (LH Type), it attaches securely to an anchor point and allows wire rope or fibre rope to be fed through the drop-forged sheave, redirecting the pulling force for maximum mechanical advantage.
Built to a safety factor of 4 times the working load limit, the block delivers a rated capacity of 4 tonnes (4,000 kg), making it suitable for heavy rigging and recovery work. The structural carbon steel side plates, flame-hardened cast steel sheave and alloy steel components combine to provide exceptional strength and durability in service.
The block's opening feature allows rope to be inserted into the sheave quickly with the removal of a single bolt, no need to thread the rope from the end. A galvanised finish option is also available for corrosive or outdoor environments.
