16mm-eye-self-locking-swivel-hook
16mm Eye Self Locking Swivel Hook

This 16 mm eye self-locking swivel hook is built to Grade 80 specification from high-grade quenched and tempered alloy steel, delivering a Working Load Limit of 8,000 kg. The integrated swivel eye rotates freely to remove sling leg twist before and during loading — a critical advantage in high-rise and multi-leg lifting scenarios where load spin can compromise safety.

The positive-lock latch is self-locking under load, meaning the hook cannot open accidentally once a load is applied. Every hook is proof-load tested to 2.5 times its WLL, with an ultimate load capacity of 4 times the rated capacity, giving you a robust safety margin in the toughest working environments.

Clearly marked with brand, WLL, batch number and size for full traceability, these hooks are a trusted choice across the oil and gas, construction, marine and general heavy-lifting industries.

Material: High-grade alloy steel — quenched and tempered, Grade 80

Working Load Limit: 8,000 kg (8.0 tonnes)

Suitable for use with Grade 80 alloy chain and wire rope

Positive self-locking latch — hook cannot open under load

Proof load tested to 2.5× WLL; ultimate load 4× WLL

Fatigue rated to 1.5× WLL at 20,000 cycles

Marked with brand, WLL, batch number and size for full traceability

Finish: Yellow/green paint coating
