13mm-eye-grab-hook
13mm Eye Grab Hook – Grade 80 Alloy Steel

This 13mm alloy steel eye grab hook is engineered for use with Grade 80 chain in heavy-duty lifting applications. Commonly used in commercial shipping, heavy haulage, and rigging, it can be used to hook the chain leg back to form a choker or as a chain shortener.

The narrow gap opening ensures only the correct size of chain can be fitted, preventing slip-off and maintaining full load engagement. Unlike some hook designs, the supporting wings on this eye grab hook prevent deformation of the chain link — meaning there is no reduction in working load limit when in use.

The reinforced saddle distributes load evenly along the chain, reducing wear, while the near-circular cross-section provides excellent resistance to bending forces.

Made from high-grade alloy steel — quenched and tempered to Grade 80 standard

Working Load Limit: 5,300 kg (5.3 tonnes)

Proof load tested to 2.5 times the WLL

Ultimate load rated at 4 times working capacity (4:1 safety factor)

Embossed with brand, WLL, batch number and size for full traceability

Supporting wings prevent chain link deformation and maintain full WLL

Reinforced saddle reduces chain wear during use
