Universal Beam Clamps are a type of lifting equipment that is specially designed to distribute the load away from the flange edge of an I-Beam, thus reducing flange stress. Universal Beam Clamps are ideal for lifting, holding and positioning steel beams, such as RSJ for construction. They are also suitable for a wide range of industrial and construction lifting applications, whenever a temporary or semi-permanent hoist anchor point is needed. The Ratchet Shop Universal Beam Clamps have a weight capacity of 1 ton (1000kg), are suitable for a flange width of 75-230mm, and conform to ANSI/ASME safety standards.
